Updates on Xbox Version and Collector’s Edition

Greetings, Tacticians.
We apologize that it took a while longer for this post than what we promised in our last update. Much has been going on for Ocean Drive Studio and our partners, and we’d like to bring you news on two things many of you have been waiting for!
Lost Eidolons on Console
We appreciate everyone who backed the Xbox version and waited patiently since our PC release last October. While we can’t say the wait is exactly over just yet, we wanted to assure you that it is indeed coming, and very soon! We finally have the release date for Lost Eidolons on console: August 24th, 2023! For more details, please check out the press release and trailer from Plug In Digital, our console porting partner.
We plan to share a follow-up with details on when and how you would claim your keys for the Xbox version in the near future, so please keep an eye out for more information.
Physical Collector’s Edition
Another news we’d like to share is on the Collector’s Edition. We’re finally caught up with production after the global supply chain issue, and are very close to getting them in your hands! Our plan is to ship them mid August, so those who have ordered the collector’s edition can keep an eye out for a pleasant surprise in the mail soon.
We are deeply grateful for all backers who have shown continued support and interest throughout the delay with console port and physical edition production. We pledge to continue to do our best in creating the best gameplay experience we can, shaping each ODS game together with the community!

Lost Eidolons Xbox Release Update

Greetings Tacticians,
It’s been a while since you heard us talk about the Xbox version of Lost Eidolons, so we thought it high time we give you an update.
Though we had only officially announced Xbox, we were always hoping to be on Playstation as well and have been working towards launching on both platforms. Recently, we decided the best course of action would be to partner with a veteran console team so we can launch on both Xbox and Playstation at the same time.
We are still discussing the launch timeline and are unable to inform you when you’d see Lost Eidolons on your favorite console as of this moment. But we will be able to give more information next month.
We know you've been waiting a while for the Xbox release, especially our Kickstarter backers.
We are grateful and truly appreciate your patience which is allowing us to attempt the best console launch possible.

Update on Collector’s Edition Production

With the PC launch of Lost Eidolons on October 13 upon us, we bring you an interim update on the collector’s edition today.
Collector’s Edition Schedule
The global supply chain issues led to unforeseen delays in production. We are still in talks with the manufacturer of the physical edition to secure a concrete schedule. What we can share at the moment is that the collector’s edition of Lost Eidolons will be delayed by several months and we are now looking at delivery in mid-2023.
The design work is completed, but it has been extremely difficult to secure the schedule for the actual print production. Please note that this delay only affects the delivery of the physical copy and not the digital copy. If you ordered the collector’s edition, you will get the digital version of the game upon release (no time lost!), and the physical copy later.
Collector’s Edition Preview
Since the design of the artbook and the vinyl are done, we were able to share some snippets during our last dev chat stream. In case you missed it, here are some images to give you a sense of how the extra content would look like when you actually get it in your hands.

We know this delay in production may come as a disappointment and we are very sorry to have to deliver the news. We are continually discussing with stakeholders to get the issues resolved and secure a concrete schedule as quickly as possible. This delay is also costing us more as the cost to print is rising all around the world. We promise to provide you with further updates as we get more details confirmed.
Once again, please note that this will not delay your access to the game or the digital assets (artbook and OST). It will only delay the delivery of the physical package containing the LP vinyl.

Lost Eidolons and Downloadable Contents Coming Within 24 Hrs!

Hello Tacticians,
The time has come! The time to reap your rewards for trusting and backing an unknown development studio is upon us.
We will be sending you your Steam key for the game, artbook, and the original soundtrack starting today. Please give us until tomorrow to have sent everyone their keys and/or files.
Between now and the game release, 11 AM Eastern/8 AM Pacific, you should receive your game key.
After the game is released, you should start receiving separate emails for the artbook and the OST.
Our deepest apologies for not being able to send everything at once, but you should have everything within the next 24 hours.
If you do not receive what you ordered, please reach out to us.

Lost Eidolons Is Coming to PC Soon!

We have some important announcements for Lost Eidolons today! Before we dive in, check out this quick message from Jin Sang, the creative director.
Release Date
You heard it from the man! Many of you have been waiting for this information, and we have finalized the date–the PC version of Lost Eidolons will be released on October 13, 2022. The team held multiple internal discussions to keep the wait as short as possible, but still ensure a schedule that allows us to bring you the best Lost Eidolons experience we can. For those of you catching up to Lost Eidolons news, please read this post to learn more about the delay with the Xbox version of the game.
Price
This required multiple discussions internally as well. We also took feedback from our community to explore many different options, then reached our conclusion: Lost Eidolons will be priced at 34.99 USD (subject to taxes, regional pricing, etc.). We’d like to add that the whole process was a blessing as we got to see how much our community valued Lost Eidolons!
